94) Stanford White

Stanford White (1853 – 1906). American architect and partner in the architectural firm McKim, Mead & White, the frontrunner among Beaux-Arts firms. He was killed by Evelyn Nesbit's millionaire husband, Harry K. Thaw.

- "Stanford stood over 6 feet tall, with red hair and a moustache."

 - "The hair at least remained and he [A. Saint-Gaudens], Charles McKim and Stanford White thought and spoke of themselves as 'the three redheads'."
