1099) Charles Follen McKim

Charles Follen McKim (1847 - 1909). American Beaux-Arts architect of the late 19th century. Along with William Rutherford Mead and Stanford White, he provided the architectural expertise as a member of the partnership McKim, Mead & White.

- "The red hairs in McKim's head were getting fewer indeed, but, like the Sibylline Leaves, the remaining ones became the more potent."

- "The hair at least remained and he [A. Saint-Gaudens], Charles McKim and Stanford White thought and spoke of themselves as 'the three redheads'."

- "... with blue eyes, a drooping mustache and reddish hair already fleeing his prominent forehead."
